Lauren Kropa

Lauren Kropa, PA-C, has been part of OVYVO Medical Weight Loss since the beginning. Before the practice became OVYVO Medical Weight Loss in 2020, it was known as Medical Weight Loss Center of Harrisburg. Lauren transitioned into full-time medical weight loss in 2014 and has been dedicated to this work ever since.

Lauren graduated from King’s College Physician Assistant Program in 2007 with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She spent her first seven years in family medicine at Baughman Family Medicine, working alongside Dr. Paul Baughman. During that time, she became increasingly focused on weight loss, metabolic health, and helping patients who needed more time and support than a typical primary care visit could provide.

Over the past 12+ years, Lauren has worked with patients through every stage of weight loss treatment, including treatment planning, medication management, dose adjustments, plateaus, setbacks, and long-term maintenance. Her approach is straightforward: honest guidance, individualized treatment, realistic expectations, and practical support from someone who has spent more than a decade doing this work every day.
